MichatekSkarstad is a Buenos Aires based architecture studio that works mainly with dwellings, housing and furniture, as well as participating in competitions covering a wider range of typologies such as educational buildings, urban planning and parks/green spaces. 

 

Torunn Vaksvik Skarstad has a Bachelor in Architecture from Norwegian University of Natural Science, Trondheim, Norway and completed her Masters in Architecture, Design and Urban studies at the Aarhus School of Architecture, Aarhus Denmark. Her experience extends to collaboration on infrastructure projects, urban planning, housing, refurbishment, single dwellings, furniture and graphic design in Norway, Denmark, Spain and Argentina. 

 

Matias Michatek has a Masters in Architecture, Design and Urban Planning from the University of Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina as well as a certificate from the Vejle School of Furniture Design. His experience includes multiple collaborations with different studios as well as independent design on complex building, infrastructure, urban planning, housing, refurbishment, single dwellings, furniture and urban furniture in Norway and Argentina.
